COOKIES
1. We collect various pieces of information about you in connection with the operation of SEANICS. We collect information about you and your use of SEANICS in two ways: Through the so-called ‘cookies’ and through registration and use of SEANICS.

2. Cookies are small bits of information that SEANICS places on your computer’s hard drive, on your tablet or on your smart phone. Cookies contain information that SEANICS uses to streamline communication between you and your web browser. The cookie does not identify you as an individual user but identifies your computer.

3. There are two types of cookies – session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are bits of information that are deleted when you close your web browser. Persistent cookies are bits of information that are stored on your computer until they are deleted. Persistent cookies delete themselves after a certain period of time but are renewed each time you visit SEANICS. SEANICS uses both temporary and persistent cookies.

4. We use similar technologies that store and read information on the browser or device, which utilizes local units and local storage, such as HTML 5 cookies and other technologies. These technologies can work across your browsers. In some cases, the use of these technologies is not controlled by the browser but require special tools. We use these technologies to store information that is used to pick up irregularities in the use of SEANICS’s online properties.

5. A cookie can contain text, numbers, or for example, a date, but there is no personal data contained in a cookie. It is not a programme and cannot contain viruses.

6. When visiting SEANICS for the first time, you will automatically receive a cookie. We use cookies to customize and create content and services that match your interests. We also use cookies to create demographic and user-related statistics and thus determine who is visiting SEANICS. We record anonymous information such as number of bytes sent and received, internet host time, browser type, version, and language, etc.

7. We use cookies:
          1. For statistics, i.e.: measuring traffic on SEANICS, including the number of visits to SEANICS, what domains visitors come from, what pages they look at on SEANICS and what general geographic area the user is in.

SEANICS’S PRIVACY POLICY
PERSONAL DATA
1. It is important for us to keep your personal data safe and confidential. We have procedures for collecting, storing, deleting, updating and disclosing personal data to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data and to comply with applicable laws.

2. We ensure fair and transparent computing. When we ask you to provide us with your personal data, we will let you know what personal data we process about you and for what purpose such personal data is being processed. You will receive information about this at the time of collection of your personal data.

Customer Data:
1. When you sign up to a meeting, ask to be contacted by SEANICS, or buy/lease a SEANICS module, we collect the following information about you: Name, email, phone number, place of work

Other Personal Data:
1. Additionally, we will automatically collect the following data in order to provide the SEANICS service, which may include:
          1. IP Address
          2. OS Name & Version
          3. Browser Name & Version
          4. Screen Resolution
          5. Language (based on headers sent by browser)
          6. Usage Date & Time


PURPOSE
1. We collect and store your personal data for specific purposes or other legitimate business purposes.

2. Your personal data is collected and used for:
          1. to provide you with SEANICS service information about services offered on or through SEANICS and evaluations of these – the contract between you and SEANICS – as per Article 6 b&c of the Data Protection Regulation,
                  1. Here we collect “Customer data” to adhere to book keeping rules up to 5 years and “Other personal Data” as described above to improve our services for 1 year.
          2. News about SEANICS, using your email address to identify for advertising services on social media like LinkedIn and Meta’s media (this ensures that we only market to you when we think it’s relevant) and to conduct research about SEANICS’ customer base or services – the permission you give SEANICS – as per Article 6 a of the Data Protection Regulation,
                  1. Here we collect “Customer data”to adhere to book keeping rules up to 5 years and “Other personal Data” as described above to improve our services for 1 year.
                  2. Furthermore, we ask for demographic and interest data which are not obligatory to provide us with when you sign up for our newsletter (birthday, demographic data, your interests etc.). We store this for as long as you are signed up for the newsletter. In all newsletters from us you can at any time withdraw your permission.
          3. to fulfil a contract between you and SEANICS and payments including credit checks and collection – the contract between you and SEANICS – as per Article 6 b&c of the Data Protection Regulation,
                   1. Here we collect “Customer data” to adhere to book keeping rules up to 5 years and “Other personal Data” as described above to improve our services for 1 year.
          4. to notify you of technical updates or changes in policy – the contract between you and SEANICS – as per Article 6 b&c of the Data Protection Regulation,

3. In case of a contractual agreement between a company (not the employees) and SEANICS, SEANICS can collect the same data as in 2.1, 2.3 and 2.4 based on the basis of legitimate interest (article 6f).

4. We may use non-Personal Data to analyse and develop our marketing strategy and further improve SEANICS and our services.


DATA QUALITY
Required Personal Data
1. We verify that the personal data we process about you is correct and not misleading. We also make sure to update your personal data on a regular basis. We ask you to provide us with relevant changes to your personal data. You can use the contact details above to notify us of such changes.

2. Your personal data will always be processed in accordance with good data processing practices (“God Databehandlingsskik”) and in accordance with applicable laws.

3. Please note that: (1) there might be some latency in deleting this personal data from our servers and back-up storage, and (2) we may retain this personal data if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.


DATA QUALITY POLICIES
Activation
1. We collect Personal Data from the Data Subject when you ask for a meeting, give a permission or go into contractual agreement with SEANICS.

Visit On Our Website
1. When you visit SEANICS’s website, we collect “Other personal data” as described above and we also collect non-Personal Data, which is information that by itself cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information (e.g. age or gender) or usage information (e.g. the browser you are using, the URL that referred you to SEANICS and the areas of SEANICS you visit). We may also supplement the information we collect with information from other sources to assist us in evaluating and improving our Platform and offerings.

Attending events or meetings
1. If you sign up to an event or a meeting with SEANICS your personal data is registered directly with SEANICS and our email marketing service. We process your data in order to keep up our end of the agreement of knowing who to welcome and notify of of any changes.

Newsletter
1. If you sign up to receive SEANICS’s newsletters, your personal data is registered directly with SEANICS and our email marketing service Mailchimp. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from SEANICS, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of all emails sent (or by sending an e-mail hereon to info@SEANICS.dk).

2. You allow us to create custom audiences in social media based on your email-address through email upload. This is to improve our advertising relevense to you.

Anonymization
1. SEANICS applies anonymization of data from customers for statistic and research purposes, as well as to improve systems, processors and products.

2. SEANICS irrevocably anonymizes Personal Data in such a way that the Data Subject can no longer be identified after the deletion as described under purpose.

3. For example, name, address or personal identification number will be replaced by a code, serial number, etc. Codes are assigned randomly and cannot be restored using lists, keys, etc., showing the relationship between the serial number and the actual identification information.


TRANSFER
General
1. We may disclose Personal Data to other companies or people under any of the following circumstances:
          1.
                  • If sharing the information is reasonably necessary to provide or otherwise make available SEANICS and any feature of SEANICS or a service that you have requested.
                  • If we are required to do so by law, in connection with litigation, to prevent a crime, or to protect personal property, the public, or SEANICS.
                  • In connection with a sale or merger with another entity, consolidation, restructuring, sale of company assets, financing or other corporate change, including during the course of any due diligence process or if SEANICS should ever file for bankruptcy or related proceeding.
                  • When we otherwise have the Data Subject’s consent to share the information.
                  • SEANICS may also share non-Personal Data with third parties (e.g. aggregate or demographic data).
          2. MIPPIM 2022 and VELUX
                  • If you sign up to meetings at MIPPIM 2022, your personal data will be shared with VELUX as they are part of our MIPPIM 2022 events.
                  • If you give a permission to our newsletter when signing up for a meeting at MIPPIM 2022, you also give this permission with the same rights to VELUX. Both permissions can be withdrawn at any time.You can at any time contact us for a copy of the contract governing this agreement between GoBoat and Velux.

Disclosure For Legal Reasons
1. We disclose Personal Data to companies, organizations or individuals outside of our group of companies if we believe in good faith that access, use, preservation or disclosure is necessary to: (1) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (2) enforce applicable user terms, including investigation of potential violations, (3) register, prevent or otherwise protect against address fraud, security or technical issues, or (4) indemnifying us, our users or the public’s rights, property or safety, as required.


DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
Objection
1. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. You can also object to our disclosure of your personal data. You can use the contact information at the top of the Privacy Policy to send an objection to us. If your objection is justified, we will stop any processing of your personal data.

Insight, Etc.
1. If you contact SEANICS, SEANICS will inform you of what personal data of you SEANICS is processing, the purpose of the processing, who receives the personal data and the information om where from the personal data originates. We will reply to your request as soon as possible. If your request has not been answered within 4 weeks of receipt, SEANICS will inform you of the reason for this and when a decision is expected to be available. Any inquiry about the above will only be answered if more than 6 months have elapsed since your last request unless you can demonstrate a particular interest in getting the information earlier.

Correctness Of Data
1. The processing of your personal data will be organized so that the information can be updated when needed. Information that proves inaccurate or misleading will be promptly rectified or erased. You are responsible for providing us with information to help ensuring the correctness of your personal data.

Right Of Access
1. Upon your written request, we will provide you with information on whether or not we process personal data concerning you. We will also provide you with information on 1) what information is processed, 2) the purposes, 3) the categories of recipients of the personal data and 4) available information about the source of the personal data.

2. We will provide such information to you within 4 weeks from the date of receipt of your request. If we cannot provide such information to you within the stated 4 weeks after the date of receipt of your request, we will provide you with information of the reason for this and the time when the information is likely to be available.


SUB DATA PROCESSOR
1.
          1. We use third party data processors to perform the technical operation of SEANICS. Sub data processing is carried out within the European Union. One sub processer, MailChimp is in the USA. The contract between SEANICS and MailChimp has included a standard contractual clause based on the requirements by the European Commission (GDPR). Please contact SEANICS for the contract. The database server is hosted in its own isolated environment protected by a firewall, which prevents the data from being directly accessible to any external party. The majority (database & main server) of our data is stored within the European Union, primarily in Ireland.
          2. We use the following sub data provider types:
                   1. Technical data base provider
                   2. Email marketing provider
          3. The sub data processors act solely on our instructions which are based on your instructions. The sub data processors have taken the necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration and against the unauthorized disclosure, abuse or other processing in violation of applicable law.

CHANGES
1. We may change our Privacy Policy at any given time. As a SEANICS account holder you should review our Privacy Policy regularly. Such changes shall come into force immediately. If you do not agree to the modified Privacy Policy, please stop using SEANICS. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the modified terms, the modified terms shall apply. Your continued use of the Services provided by us after the date the modified terms are posted will constitute your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
